Dear Sir or Madam:
The previous response (Reference 2) regarding Interim Compensatory Measures (ICMs)
B.2.a(1), B.2.a(2) and B.2.b identified that the evaluation required by these ICMs had been initiated but could not be completed in time to support the order response date. A request for an extension of time to submit an answer and request a hearing was submitted (Reference 3).
The evaluation for which the request was submitted would determine if Pilgrim Station could meet the intent of the ICMs or could provide improvements that would meet the intent of the ICMs and the compliance date in the Order.
The evaluation has been completed and necessary improvements are being implemented.
Necessary actions to meet the requirements of B.2.a.(1), B.2.a(2) and B.2.b will be implemented by August 31, 2002. A request for a hearing (Reference 2) will not be required.
