Dear Dr. Travers:
When I read about the tragedy of the upkeep of the Davies Besse Nuclear Plant, I was sickened because this plant sits in my backyard. I feel I need to not only be concerned about terrorists contaminating our environment by attacking this facility, but now what is worse, a meltdown caused by lack of a regular main tenance which is proactive rather than reactive. Since I think the Akron-based First Energy Corp. has demonstrated their inability to operate a nuclear power plant safely, I respectfully request this reactor not be restarted and that the nu clear waste be removed from this facility so Northeast Ohioans can be safe. I request a complete shutdown of this facility.
