DUANE ARNOLD ENERGY CENTER - CHANGE TO PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED NRC INSPECTION
Dear Mr. Van Middlesworth:
On March 4, 2002, the NRC issued an annual assessment letter covering the period from April 2001 to December 2001. This letter contained a preliminary schedule of NRC inspections through March 2003. Due to follow up issues associated with the events of September 11, 2001, circumstances unforseen when the schedule was developed, and emergent issues, we have decided to change the Inspection Procedure 7113003 inspection from June 3-7, 2002, to July 8-12, 2002.
This change has been discussed with B. Kindred of your staff. If you have questions regarding the NRC actions discussed above, please contact Mr. James Creed at (630) 829-9857.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
