At the beginning of the meeting Jim Dyer addressed the panel members to lay out expectations and to discuss the challenges facing the panel during the IMC 0350 process.

Reports from Staff Repair/Replacement Plans (DE)
DE staff and the panel discussed the panels role in the technical review of any repair or replacement submitted to the NRC. The panel will have no technical involvement in the review but needs to maintain awareness of the process and in particular, any dissenting views regarding the processing of the licensing decision. The panel needs to be briefed prior to issuing any licensing action.
Risk Analysis (DSSA/SRA)
S. Long and S. Burgess discussed the SDP phase 3 evaluation that is currently underway. The TIA sent in from Region III was accepted. RES is performing technical evaluations to determine the pressure at which the as found cavity would fail and also how large the cavity would need to be to fail at normal operating pressure. RES is also looking at how fast the cavity might have been expanding with time. The results of these evaluations will be used in the SDP phase 3 assessment.
The licensees response to the RAI was extended to June 7. This was communicated to the NRC on the weekly calls between the licensee and NRR.

The petition review board met today to discuss a 2.206 petition that was received.
Two green ticket items were discussed.
A revision to the Confirmatory Action Letter was discussed.
