ROCHESTER GAS & ELECTRIC CORPORATION (RG&E) LICENSE AMENDMENT PRE-APPLICATION MEETING RE: FUTURE MODIFICATIONS TO THE CONTROL ROOM VENTILATION SYSTEM (TAC NO. MB1945)
Pursuant to RG&Es request (see RG&Es letter dated May 14, 2001, ADAMS Accession No. ML011420101), TAC No. MB1945 was opened in anticipation that a meeting would be held between RG&E and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff to discuss future modifications to the control room ventilation system (CRVS) at the R.E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant. This TAC number is over 1 year old and RG&E has not acted on this pre-application request. A conference call was held between RG&E and the staff on May 17, 2002. Mark Flaherty, RG&E licensing manager, stated that a pre-application meeting would not be necessary because RG&E plans to formally submit, in the near future, a license amendment request to revise Ginna Improved Technical Specifications associated with the CRVS. Therefore, TAC No. MB1945 is closed.
