DOMINIONS RESPONSE TO DRAFT RAI 2.3.4.4-8 On November 21, 2001, Mike Henig of Virginia Electric and Power Company (VEPCo) transmitted an electronic mail (e-mail) to Robert Prato and provided Dominions draft response to the staffs request for additional information (RAI) 2.3.4.4-8. The e-mail response from VEPCo is attached.

RESPONSE
The back-up compressed air system components for the Surry turbine-driven auxiliary feedwater pump steam admission valves, 1(2)-MS-PCV-102A/B, are Instrument Air (IA) system components, and are shown on Surry drawings 11448-LRM-075C, sheet 3 and 11548-LRM-075D, sheet 1 listed in LRA section 2.3.3.14. As identified on the LRM drawings, these back-up air system components are within the scope of license renewal.
