THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE NUCLEAR DECOMMISSIONING FINANCING COMMITTEE DOCKET NO. NDFC 2002-1 ORDER NO. 2 On March 8, 2002, the Nuclear Decommissioning Financing Committee (Committee) issued Order No. 1, establishing a procedural schedule for this docket. Subsequent to that date, a number of new members have joined the Committee. Before considering the issues in this docket, the Committee will undertake a process to familiarize new members with the responsibilities of the Committee generally and the calculation and operation of the decommissioning fund specifically. This review is necessary for the Committee members to make reasoned and informed decisions. Accordingly, the procedural schedule established in Order No. 1 is modified to provide sufficient time for the members to be prepared to decide the issues in the docket. All active full parties have agreed to this change in the procedural schedule.
AMENDED SCHEDULE The revised procedural schedule for the docket is:

- 3. Public hearing in Concord June 5
- 4. Post-hearing briefs June 10
- 5. Preliminary Reportand Order June 14

The public hearing will be held at the Public Utilities Commission, 8 Old Suncook Road, Concord, New Hampshire on June 5, 2002 commencing at 10:00 A.M. Any further change in date or location of the public hearing will be posted at least seven days before the hearing. The time and place for the final hearing in Seabrook, New Hampshire will be published after the preliminary Report and Order is issued, as required by RSA 162-F:21 IV. The Pre-hearing Conferences listed on the procedural schedule are for full parties to this docket for settlement discussions and are not to be public meetings or public hearings.
Based on the foregoing, it is hereby ORDERED, that the procedural schedule noted above is adopted for the duration of this proceeding, subject to change as may be ordered by the Committee.
