REFERENCES:
VCSNS to NRC letter requesting revisions to previously accepted deviations to the criteria within Section IIl.G.2.c to Appendix R of 10CFR50, dated March 27, 2001 (RC-01-0053).
VCSNS to NRC letter requesting revisions to previously accepted deviations to the criteria within Section IIl.G.2.c to Appendix R of 1 OCFR50 (Revision 1) dated January 28, 2002 (RC-02-0017).
South Carolina Electric & Gas (SCE&G) is withdrawing the request for revisions to a previously approved plant licensing basis deviation referenced in the above letters.
At the request of the NRC, the following information regarding the statement in RC-02 0017, "In addition, 13 of the original revision requests have been removed because they meet the original deviation criteria, per the October 18, 2001 telephone conversation with the NRC reviewer" is provided. SCE&G understands that the teleconference did not indicate NRC approval.
