SUMMARY
OF THE APRIL 2, 2002, MEETING WITH EXELON TO DISCUSS QUAD CITIES PERFORMANCE On April 2, 2002, a public meeting was held at The Lodge in Bettendorf Iowa, between the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Exelon staff. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss NRCs assessment of Quad Cities performance for the period of April 1, 2001 through December 31, 2001. In addition, Exelon officials briefly discussed their own assessment of performance.
During the NRC presentation, an overall assessment of Quad Cities performance was provided.
As explained in the Annual Assessment letter from NRC to John L. Skolds, President, Exelon Nuclear, dated March 4, 2002, reference ADAMS accession number ML020700430, plant performance at Quad Cities was within the Licensee Response Column and only baseline inspections are planned for Quad Cities through March 31, 2003. The slides presented that evening by the NRC are available in ADAMS (accession number ML021000415).
