ANNUAL PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT MEETING FOR COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION.

Dear Mr. Terry:

This refers to the meeting conducted in the Glen Rose, Texas on March 26, 2002. This meeting was to discuss the safety performance at Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station over the period from April 1, 2001, to December 31, 2001.

At the meeting, topics discussed included a description of the Reactor Oversight Process, the safety performance at Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, and other topics that may have been of interest to the local area residents. Members of the public present at the meeting were allowed to ask questions and comment on the proceedings.

In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
