DE-AM02-OODPOO315-TR Mm PODUCINO BURNABLE ABSORBER RODS (rPBA1s) IRRADIATION REQUIDM T NOTIFICATION In caciiiance with the specific requirements for notifcation in the refmeced Interagency Agreement the Departo*at of F=egy (DOE) is providmg a cofre estimate of DOE's idiation requirements. This nodfication 4cdes that contained in the November 9,2001 letter on the subject.

In accarmdn with Section C.2.e., of the refemued Inwragazy Agreenmuk the Department of Energy hereby otfe the Temw we Valley Aufhim* that its TPBAR irradiation requirements arc 2.800 TPBAPE per year swning.95 grma hiWn produced per TPBAR averAge starting in Find Year 2004 which begins on October 1, 2003. Based on DOE's projectin of firm tritium needs, wr estimate that the DOE's annual TPBAR irradiation requiremwnts for the subsequent five year a 2,800 TPBAR. per year, assming the same average produetion per TPBAR.

In accordance with the requir=ets of Secton C.2.e., of the Agrement, within 120 days of this notification, TVA will notify DOE which of its Reactor(s) it plans to we to irradiate the TPAPs, sad the umber of TPBARs it plans to irradiate in each.
