Dear Mr. Bergendahl:
This letter confirms conversations between Mr. Scott Thomas, NRC Senior Resident Inspector, and members of your staff to have a meeting to discuss the NRC Augmented Inspection Teams preliminary findings regarding the loss of pressure boundary material from the reactor vessel head at the Davis Besse Nuclear Power Station.
The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. (EST) on Friday, April 5, 2002, in the Oak Harbor High School Auditorium, 11661 West State Route 163, Oak Harbor, Ohio. The meeting is open to the public.
We will gladly discuss any questions you may have concerning this matter.
