RANDOM TESTING During this reporting period, Consumers Energy* conducted a total of 281 random tests with the following results:

PRE-ACCESS TESTING A total of 235 pre-access tests were conducted during this reporting period. Four (4) individuals were denied access based on positive test results.
C.
FOR CAUSE TESTING One (1) For-Cause test was administered during the reporting period resulting from a security officer discovering an open container of alcohol in an employee's vehicle. The test results were negative.
- Although Nuclear Management Company, LLC is the operating licensee of the Palisades Nuclear Plant, Consumers Energy Company, owner of the plant, administered the program during 2001.

APPEALS The appeal process was not initiated during this reporting period.

REPORTABLE EVENTS UNDER 10 CFR 26.73 During this six-month interval, Nuclear Management Company did not encounter any Fitness For Duty event that required reporting under 10 CFR 26.73.
