Dear Mr. Byrne:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. R. Sweet of your staff and Mr. M. Widmann of my staff on March 5, 2002, concerning a meeting requested by you which has been scheduled for April 8, 2002, at 1 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss major activities, modifications, and shutdown safety considerations during your upcoming Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station refueling outage. The location of the meeting will be the Region II Office, Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center, 61 Forsyth Street, SW, Atlanta, GA, in Suite 24T20 on the 24th floor. This meeting is open per Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement (59 FR 48340, September 20, 1994, as amended at 65 FR 56964, September 20, 2000).
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
