In accordance with the requirements of Section 6.6.2 of Appendix A, Technical Specifications, of Amendment # 12 to License # R-94, effective immediately Manhattan College is making the following permanent changes to the organization of the MCZPR Decommissioning; A. Dr. Robert Berlin will be the Acting Reactor Administrator and Radiation Safety Officer replacing Mrs. Catherine Stanton, who recently passed away.
B. Dr. William Duggan will fill the position of Health Physicist and Quality Assurance Manager.
Both Drs. Berlin and Duggan are well qualified to fill the designated positions having been prior SRO's and Reactor Administrators at the MCZPR during the 1980's and 1990's. Both have extensive experience in nuclear facility decommissioning and radioactive waste management and were involved in arranging for and conducting the packaging and transport of the HEU fuel from the MCZPR in 1991.
Please contact me if any additional clarification is required as to the above noted personnel changes.
