SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE A.

Unit One Unit One operated the month of January at full power with the exception of a load drop on January 06 to exercise control rods. On January 09, Unit One was shutdown due to a failure of the hold down beam for Jet Pump #20. The unit remained shutdown the rest of the month.

B.

Unit Two Unit Two operated the month of January at full power until January 24, when the unit commenced end of life coast down for the upcoming refuel outage, Q2R1 6. During the month, there were two planned load drops for CRD special maneuvers, three unplanned load drops for Turbine Control Valve oscillations and a load drop at the request of the Mid-American load dispatcher.
