Reduced power to 97% RTP to complete a calibration on Loop 1 Reactor Protection Temperature channel. Operations procedures required a 2% RTP power reduction with Loops 1, 3 or 4 temperature channels in a tripped condition. This action provides margin against an inadvertent OPAT/OTAT reactor trip due to the Upper Plenum Flow Anomaly. Unit returned to full power operation the following day.
