MAINTENANCE OF REFERENCE MATERIAL AT THE INDIAN RIVER COMMUNITY COLLEGE LIBRARY FOR THE SAINT LUCIE NUCLEAR PLANT LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION
Dear Dr. Widman:
During my visit to the Indian River Community College Library on December 17, 2001, I was pleased to find the reference material related to Florida Power & Light Company's (FPL's) application for renewal of the operating licenses for Saint Lucie, Units 1 and 2, for an additional 20 years. The application had been received by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and a copy was given to you by an FPL employee to be placed in your library. During my visit on December 17, 2001, I noted that you had received the application and had placed it in a readily accessible location to be available to interested members of the public.
The NRC staff appreciates your willingness to assist the public in participating in our license renewal process. Your library will be placed on our distribution list for documents related to our environmental review of FPL's application for the Saint Lucie license renewal.
