Dear Sir:
Enclosed is the Physical Security Plan, Revision 22, Security Force Training & Qualification Plan Revision 9, Safeguards Contingency Plan Revision 6, which is being submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(4). In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(p), the changes incorporated into these revisions were evaluated and determined not to decrease the safeguards effectiveness of these plans. Enclosure 1 provides the changes being submitted as Revision 22 to the Physical Security Plan, including a "Summary of Changes" detailing the changes incorporated. Enclosure 2 provides the changes being submitted as Revision 9 to the Security Force Training & Qualification Plan, including a "Summary of Changes" detailing the changes incorporated. Enclosure 3 provides the changes being submitted as Revision 6 to the Safeguards Contingency Plan, including a "Summary of Changes" detailing the changes incorporated. The Physical Security Plan is being revised to reflect changes resulting from the purchase by Entergy of Indian Point 2 from Con Edison and the discontinuance in the use of temporary badges. The Security Force Training & Qualification Plan is being revised to reflect changes made to the security organization, the introduction of a Hand Geometry System, and changes in weapons and defensive strategy. The Safeguards Contingency Plan is being revised to reflect changes as a result of Entergy's purchase of Indian Point 2.
Enclosures 1, 2, 3 contains SAFEGUARDS INFORMATION and should be controlled pursuant to 10 CFR 73.21. This letter transmits SAFEGUARDS INFORMATION and should be controlled in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21, unless separated from the enclosures.
