NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2001-21, Licensing Action Estimates for Operating Reactors, dated November 16, 2001 As requested (Reference a), we are providing information concerning the number and complexity of licensing actions that we anticipate sending to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in the next two years.

We plan to submit 11 new licensing actions in the remainder of fiscal year 2002. None of these actions have been identified as requiring complex reviews.

In addition, we currently have 9 new licensing actions identified for submittal during fiscal year 2003. We would anticipate that number could grow to about 15 over the next year. Again, none of these actions have been identified as requiring complex reviews.
