SUBJECT:
FINAL RULE TO AMEND 10 CFR PARTS 1, 20, 34, 70, 71, 72, AND 73 ON REVISED FILING REQUIREMENTS Attached for your signature, is a final rule (Attachment 1) amending 10 CFR Parts 1, 20, 34, 70, 71, 72, and 73 to reflect revised filing and advanced notification requirements resulting from organizational changes within the NRC. This final rule will inform the public of these administrative changes and will eliminate duplicate filings.
Notices: A notice to the Commission that the Executive Director for Operations has signed the Federal Register notice is attached (Attachment 2). The Approved for Publication notice (Attachment 3) is also included.
Resources: No additional resources will be needed to implement this rule.
Coordination: The Offices of Administration, Enforcement, Incident Response, and Nuclear Reactor Regulation concur with these amendments. The Office of the General Counsel has no legal objection. The Office of the Chief Financial Officer has reviewed the final rule for resource implications and has no objection.
