DAILY STAFF NOTES OFFICE OF NUCLEAR MATERIAL SAFETY AND SAFEGUARDS Direct Final Rule Signed by EDO On __________, 2000, the Executive Director for Operations approved a direct final rule that amends 10 CFR Part 34, Licenses for Industrial Radiography and Radiation Safety Requirements for Industrial Radiographic Operation; Part 36, Licenses and Radiation Safety Requirements for Irradiators; and Part 39, Licenses and Radiation Safety Requirements for Well Logging to allow licensees to use any type of dosimeter that is processed under the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP).
This notice informs the Commission that, in accordance with the rulemaking authority delegated to EDO, the EDO has signed this direct final rule and proposes to forward it on __________, to the Office of the Federal Register for publication, unless otherwise directed by the Commission.
