A special industry review group, the Boiling Water Reactor Vessels and Internals Project (BWRVIP),
was formed in 1994 by the member licensees of the BWROG to address issues related to reactor vessel, reactor coolant piping, and reactor internals degradation. The BWRVIP has been instrumental in developing and implementing proactive guidelines to address these issues.
