PSEG Nuclear LLC (PSEG) appreciates the opportunity to submit comments on Draft Regulatory Guide DG-1 199, "Alternative Radiological Sources for Evaluating Design Basis Accidents at Nuclear Power Reactors". PSEG has reviewed and fully supports the comments made by the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) in the referenced letter above including all attachments.
The NRC is requested to extend the period for receiving comments on DG-1 199 and delay final issuance of Revision 1 to Regulatory Guide 1.183. There are no new regulatory commitments contained in this letter.
