2) NRC letter, "Hope Creek Generating Station - Issuance of Amendment Re: Deletion of Component Identification for Overcurrent Protective Devices (TAC No. MD1090)," April 10, 2006
3) NRC letter, "Hope Creek Generating Station - Request for Additional Information Related to Amendment Request to Relocate Overcurrent Protective Devices (TAC NO. MC8602)," August 24, 2006 In Reference 1, PSEG Nuclear LLC (PSEG) requested changes to the Technical Specifications (TS) for Hope Creek Generating Station to relocate TS requirements for overcurrent protective devices to the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR).

Relocation of the TS requirements for primary containment penetration overcurrent protective devices is consistent with NUREG-1433, "Standard Technical Specifications General Electric Plants, BWR/4." In Reference 2, the NRC approved a portion of the proposed change, specifically relocation of the component identifiers from the overcurrent protective device lists in TS 3/4.8.4.1 and TS 3/4.8.4.5. In addition, the NRC stated that it would continue reviewing the proposed relocation of the remainder of TS 3/4.8.4.1 and TS 3/4.8.4.5.

95-2168 REV. 7/99

LR-N06-0398 September 25, 2006 Page 2 Reference 3 stated that additional information is necessary for the NRC staff to complete its review. PSEG has determined that the portion of the proposed change approved in Reference 2 is sufficient to support current operation and maintenance activities and that the remainder of the request from Reference 1 is not required.

Therefore PSEG withdraws the remainder of the proposed change still under NRC review.
