- The unit entered the month at 100% reactor power.
- On January 10, Hope Creek performed a planned power reduction to approximately 68% for maintenance on the switchyard and on a reactor feed pump.
- On January 12, the unit was manually scrammed due to Primary Containment Instrument Gas isolation following a Radiation Monitoring System failure. The plant was placed back on-line on January 17, reaching 100% power on January 19.
- On January 31, the power was reduced to approximately 61% for planned suppression testing and deep shallow rod swap.
- At the end of the month, Hope Creek completed 14 days of continuous on-line operation.
