On December 5, Hope Creek performed a planned downpower to approximately 23% power to repair a steam leak in the steam seal evaporator line. Later that day, the unit was taken off line to repair a steam leak in the Reactor Water Cleanup System that was discovered during the downpower.
The unit was placed back on-line on December 16, reaching 100% power on December 24.
- At the end of the month, Hope Creek completed 15 days of continuous on-line operation.
