50-354 Hope Creek 11/11/03 R. Ritzman (856) 339-1445 Summary Of Monthly Operating Experience The unit entered the month at approximately 38% reactor power, reaching 100% on October 3.
On October 4, Hope Creek was shutdown due to a control intercept valve hydraulic oil leak. The plant was returned on-line on October 7, and reached 100% power on October 12.
On October 29, the unit was reduced to approximately 79% power due to solar magnetic disturbance and ended the month at a reduced power level.
At the end of the month, Hope Creek completed 24 days of continuous on-line operation.
