SUBJECT:

Revision 9 to the Fort Calhoun Station (FCS) Site Security Plan Attached is Revision 9 of the FCS Site Security Plan, including a detailed summary listing of changes.

This revision reinstates the requirement to have riot batons readily available to each designated armed responder; this requirement was remuved in Revision 8 to the Plan, but was not accepted by the l

NRC as a 50.54(p) change (Reference 2). Changes to paragraphs 8.3.2 and 10.2 are follow-up corrective actions resulting from the OPPD response (Reference 3) to NRC Inspection Report 50-285/95-03.

Other changes reflect revised review requirements of the administrative Technical Specifications allowed by Generic Letter 93-07. All changes are identified with revision bars in the right margin.

l This revision has been determined not to degrade the effectiveness of current security plans, and has been approved in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p).

a This submittal contains safeguards information and must be controlled in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21. Controlled copy numbers 6, 7 and 18 are enclosed.

Controlled copy numbers 19 and 20 are being transmitted to Region IV. Controlled 4

j copy number 8 is being transmitted to the FCS Senior Resident inspector.
