Fort Calhoun 1990 Emeroency Preparedness Exercise in a letter dated February 9, 1984, the Commission requested Omaha Public Power District provide a summary of the exercise objectives approximately 60 days prior to the exercise. Accordingly, the subject information is herein provided for the upcoming Fort Calhoun Station 1990 Emergency Exercise.

QDJECTIVE8 objectives for the exercise are provided under this heading, objectives provide a basis for scenario development and a means to evaluate responses by the emergency preparedness organization.
Omaha Public Power District radiological emergency preparedness exercise objectives for the Fort Calhoun Station are based cn Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requirements provided in 10CFR50.47, " Emergency Plans", and 10CFR50, Appendix E, Emergency Planning and Preparedness for Production and Utilization Facilities".
Additional guidance provided in NUREG-0654/ FEMA-REP-1, Revision 1,
" Criteria for Preparation and Evaluation of Radiological Emergency Response Plans and Preparedness in Support of Nuclear Power Plants", was utilized in developing the objectives, page 2
