Fort Calhoun Station Steam Generator Tube Plugging Report - 2003 Refueling Outage Pursuant to FCS Unit No. 1 Technical Specifications (TS) 3.17(5)(i), the Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) completed eddy current testing of the steam generator tubes at Fort Calhoun Station (FCS) on October 4, 2003, during the twenty-first refueling outage. In accordance with the TS, OPPD reports that 46 tubes were plugged in Steam Generator RC-2A and 69 tubes were plugged in Steam Generator RC-2B.. To date, RC-2A has 308 plugged tubes and RC-2B has 340 plugged tubes.

No tubes were repaired by sleeving in either steam generator during the 2003 Refueling Outage.

Specific details in regard to steam generator tube plugging will be included in the six (6) month report required by Technical Specification 3.17(5)(ii).
