Pursuant to 10CFR Part 50, Section 50.54(p), Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota corporation, doing business as Xcel Energy (hereafter "NSPM"), herewith submits Revision 9 to the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant Security Plan (Enclosure 1). The changes, and the rationale for the changes, are outlined in the enclosed change matrix (Enclosure 2). These changes have been evaluated and do not decrease the effectiveness of the Plan.
The enclosures contain Safeguards Information. Pursuant to 1 OCFR 2.390, NSPM.
requests the enclosures be withheld from public disclosure.
