DPR-42 and DPR-60 Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant (PINGP) Security Plan, Revision 2 By letter dated July 25, 2005 (L-PI-05-069) Nuclear Management Company, LLC (NMC) submitted the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant Security Plan, Revision 1, as a supplemental response to the April 29, 2003 Security Order. Subsequent to that submittal, NMC has become aware of additional needed changes through conversations with members of your staff during teleconferences between NMC and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on February 1, 2006 and February 7, 2006.
The changes are identified in the comparative matrix (Enclosure 1).
NMC is submitting Revision 2 of the PINGP Security Plan, Appendix A and Appendix C (Enclosure 2) to implement the aforementioned recommended changes and to implement the changes issued through the Joint NRC/NEI Security Issue Panel, Security Frequently Asked Questions (SIFAQ) 05-03.
These changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the PINGP Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan, and supersedes the previously submitted PINGP Security Plan, Revision 1.
NOTE: THE ENCLOSURES TO THIS LETTER CONTAIN "SAFEGUARDS INFORMATION" AND MUST BE PROTECTED ACCORDINGLY. UPON SEPARATION OF THE ATTACHMENTS, THIS LETTER IS "DECONTROLLED."
