Pursuant to 10 CFR 21.21 (a)(2), Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota Corporation, (NSPM), doing business as Xcel Energy, hereby submits this interim report.
The deviation to be evaluated is the failed bench test of a commercially dedicated contactor by Engine Systems Incorporated (ESI), model LC1 D115GD. The contactor was found to be mechanically binding preventing its associated contacts from closing. The failed contactor has been sent to ESI for evaluation.
