Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No. I and No. 2 BV-1 Docket No. 50-334, License No. DPR-66 BV-2 Docket No. 50-412, License No. NPF-73 License Amendment Request Nos. 259 and 131 Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, Duquesne Light Company requests av amendment to the above licenses in the form of changes to the technical specifications. The proposed amendment changes the qualifications for operations management and incorporates generic titles in the technical specifications to eliminate the need to develop an amendment request when corresponding plant-specific titles are changed.
Proposed technical specification changes for Unit No.1 and Unit No. 2 are presented in Attachments A-1 and A-2, respectively. The safety analysis (including the no significant hazards evaluation)is presented in Attachment B. Updated Final Safety Analysis Report changes for Unit No. I and Unit No. 2 are presented in Attachments C-1 and C-2, respectively.
These changes have been reviewed by the Beaver Valley review committees.
The changes were determined to be safe and do not involve a significant hazard consideration as defined in 10 CFR 50.92 based on the attached safety analysis. An implementation period of up to 60 days is requested following the effective date of this amendment.
