The schedule provided for the completion of this evaluation, including appropriate procedure revbions was January 30, 1998.
The majority of this effort has been completed, hawever, additional reviews remain to be completed. Recent fimdings during these reviews warrant the extension of scope and the need to extend the completion of this action to April 1,1998. Based on the fact that following the performance of surveillances that resulted from this review, equipment operability was found acceptable, DLC believes '. hat the extension request does not represent a challenge to plant safety.
