50-250 and 50-251 Withdrawal of Request for Exemption Special Use of Thermo-Lag Fire By letter L-94-146, Florida Power and Light Company (FPL) submitted a request, in accordance with the provisions of Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations section 50.12 (10 CFR 550.12), for an exemption from certain requirements of 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix R, "Fire Protection Program for Nuclear Power Facilities Operating Prior to January 1, 1979," for Turkey Point Units 3 and 4.
By letter L-95-235, dated August 29,
- 1995, FPL provided its response to the request for additional information issued by the NRC on October 12, 1994.
The purpose of this letter is to withdraw FPL's request for an exemption from certain requirements of 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix R, for Turkey Point Units 3 and 4, as documented by letters L-94-146 and L-95-235.
FPL plans to submit a revised exemption request by December 16, 1996.
