Docket No. 50-335 and 50-389 Generic Letter 95-07 Initial Res onse The letter provides the Florida Power and Light Company (FPL) initial response to Generic Letter (GL) 95-07 "Pressure Locking and Thermal Binding of Safety Related Power Operated Gate Valves" for St.
Lucie Units 1
and 2.
The GL requested a written response within sixty days of August 17, 1995, indicating FPL's intentions to implement the actions requested in the GL and a schedule for completion.
FPL plans to implement the actions proposed in the GL.
The information requested will be provided on or before February 13, 1996.
Should our evaluations determine that modifications are required that cannot be completed by this date, FPL will provide a schedule along with the necessary justification in the
- February, 1996 submittal.
This response is provided pursuant to the requirements of Section 182a of the Atomic Energy Act of
- 1954, as
- amended, and 10 CFR 50.54(f).
