St. Lucie Unit 1 Docket No. 50-335 In-Service-Inspection Plan Second Ten-Year Interval Request for Authorization of Alternative Examination of Reactor Vessel Welds Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.55a(g)(6)(ii)(A)(5), Florida Power and Light Company (FPL) requests approval of alternative examination requirements for the augmented reactor vessel weld inspection required by 10CFR55a(g)(6)(ii)(A).
FPL has determined that the proposed alternatives would provide an acceptable level of quality and safety.
The request for authorization of alternative examination requirements including the justification is attached.
NRC review is requested by January 15, 1996, to support planning for the next St. Lucie Unit 1 refueling outage which is currently scheduled to begin April 8, 1996.
