The requested amendment increases the presently licensed rated core power level of 2560 HWth to 2700 NWth.

The potential. environmental impact of operating at.
27'30 NWth rated core power was considered in the Final Environmental Statement (Reference 3) and found acceptable.
Enclosures 1 and 2, respectively, provide the marked-up change to Technical Specification 1.25 (page 1-5) and a
Mo Significant Hazards Consideration evaluation in support of this proposed change.
In accordance with 10CFR50.91(b)(1),
a copy of the proposed amendment is being forwarded to the State Designee for the State of Florida.
The proposed amendment has been reviewed by the St. Lucie Facility Review Group and the Florida Power S Light Company Nuclear Review Board.
In accordance with 10CFR170.12(c) a check for
$ 150.00 is attached.
