- 1983, January 14,
- 1983, and February 18,
- 1983, concerning the Draft Safety Evaluations on Appendix R
Exemption Requests for Turkey Point Units 3
& 4 and St. Lucie Unit 1

- Also, this letter confirms the agreements reached during a meeting with your Mr. R.
H. Vollmer on February 23, 1983, at St. Lucie Unit 2.
During this meeting it was agreed that FPL would supplement the fire protection proposals to reflect recent work showing additional compliance with the require-ments of Appendix R.
The supplements will be submitted on or before April 8, 1983.
$i'here alternate shutdown is proposed, a submittal will be made on or before October 7, 1983.
It is our understanding that following submittal of the supplements, discussions will be held in Bethesda.
Subsequent site reviews will then be conducted to resolve any remaining concerns.
Upon reaching agreement on all modifications and exemption requests, implementation schedules will be developed and submitted for review.
