Docket No. 50-335 Proposed License Amendment Buried Electrical Cable In accordance with 10CFR 50.90, Florida Power 8 Light Company submits herewith three signed originals and forty copies of a request to amend Appendix A of Facility Operating License DPR-67.
This amendment is submitted to delete the requirements to test buried electrical cable periodically to detect potential environmental damage.
The ability of the cable to successfully withstand the environment they are in was presented to the ACRS by FPL as part of the St.
Luci e Unit 2 Operating License review.
The ACRS has concurred with our position.
The proposed amendment is described below and shown on 'the accompanying Technical Specification pages bearing the date of this letter in the lower right hand corner.
Pa es 3/4 8-4, 3/4 8-5, 3/4 8-6 The requirements to test the buried cable have been deleted.
The proposed amendment has been reviewed Dy the St. Lucie Facility Review Group and the Florida Power 8I Light Company Nuclear Review Board.
Enclosed please find a check for $1200 as required for a Class II Amendment.
