Indemnity Fee Refund St. Lucie Unit No.

1 and Turkey Point Unit No.

4 Operating License Nos.

DPR-67 and DPR-41 Docket Nos.

50-335 and 50-251 Florida Power 6 Light Company's letter of January 7,

1977 (L-77-12) forwarded a check in the amount of

$ 66,000 covering the indemnity fee for Turkey Point Unit No.

4 (DPR-41) for the period of December 30, 1976 through December 29, 1977 (Invoice No. 44-77).

Similarly, our letter of February 28, 1977 (L-77-64) forwarded a

check in the amount of

$ 76,800 covering the indemnity fee for St. Lucie Unit No.

1 (DPR-67) for the period of February ll, 1977 through February 10, 1978 (Invoice No. 85-77).

An Amendment to 10 CFR 140.7 which became effective August 1,

1977, reduced the indemnity fee due from our Company to

$ 12/Mwth.

Therefore, we have overpaid the Turkey Point Unit No.

4 fee for the period from August 1, 1977 through December 29, 1977 and the St. Lucie Unit No.

1 fee for the period from August 1, 1977 through February 10, 1978.

The amounts overpaid were

$ 16,394.40 for Turkey Point and

$ 24,376.32 for St. Lucie.

We request that these overpayments be refunded.

Yours very truly, Robert E. Uhrig Vice President REU/NLR:ltm cc:
