1/2. Cooling tower silt was removed from Unit 1 in spring and U2 in fall as part of plant outage maintenance and stored in a stockpile area. U1 cooling tower silt was landfill disposed of off-site. U2 cooling tower silt will be disposed of likewise as soon as weather permits in 2025. The stockiple area will be seeded and mulched upon removal of the material.

Plant logistics and personnel scheduling do not always permit sampling to take place within the first 30 minutes of a rain event. The number of samples, distance between sample points, and staffing availability challenge the plants ability to collect all the required samples in a 30 minute period.
