August 3, 2023 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attn: Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555 Re: Seabrook Station Docket No. 50-443 NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2023-01 NEXTera ENERGY SEABROOK Docket No. 50-443 L-2023-104 10 CFR 55 Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations On April 19, 2023, NRC issued Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2023-01, Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations. RIS 2023-01 requests licensees to submit, on a voluntary basis, information pertaining to their proposed site-specific operator licensing examination schedules and the estimated number of applicants planning to take operator licensing examinations, as well as whether the licensee or the NRC will prepare the examinations. The NRC stated that this information would help the NRC to more effectively utilize its resources.
