St. Lucie Unit 1 Docket No: 50-335 Date of Event: December 8, 2009 Technical Specification Special Report Wide Range Containment Sump Level System This Special Report is being submitted pursuant to the requirements of St. Lucie Unit 1 Technical Specification 3.3.3.8, Table 3.3-11 Action 5, and Technical Specification 6.9.2. In accordance with the limiting condition for operation (LCO), if the number of OPERABLE Channels are less than the Minimum Channels OPERABLE, either restore the inoperable channel(s) to OPERABLE status within 48 hours5.555556e-4 days <br />0.0133 hours <br />7.936508e-5 weeks <br />1.8264e-5 months <br />, if repairs are feasible without shutting down, or initiate an alternate method of monitoring the reactor vessel inventory and submit a Special Report pursuant to Specification 6.9.2. This report is administrative in nature in that it provides only notification that the plant Wide Range Containment Sump Level System (LIS-07-13A) was administratively removed from service for greater than 72 hours8.333333e-4 days <br />0.02 hours <br />1.190476e-4 weeks <br />2.7396e-5 months <br /> during planned maintenance activities of the 1A emergency diesel generator (EDG.) The reactor vessel level monitoring system (RVLMS) was used during this period to provide system monitoring. LIS-07-13A had no instrumentation issues and returned to service upon completion of the 1 A EDG maintenance window.
