Each of FPL Energy Duane Arnold, LLC, FPL Energy Point Beach, LLC, and FPL Energy Seabrook, LLC is a direct, wholly-owned subsidiary of ESI Energy, LLC, which is a direct, wholly-owned subsidiary of FPL Energy, LLC (FPL Energy). FPL Energy is in turn a direct, wholly-owned subsidiary of FPL Group Capital Inc., which is a direct, wholly-owned subsidiary of FPL Group Inc. FPL Group is a public utility holding company incorporated in 1984 under the laws of the state of Florida.

Effective January 07, 2009, the name of FPL Energy was changed to NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. This is a name change only and does not change the corporate structure for any of the licensees for DAEC, Point Beach, or Seabrook.

In connection with the name change, no physical changes are being made to DAEC, Point Beach, or Seabrook, there will be no changes to the operating licenses or Technical Specifications for each of those facilities, there will be no changes to the day-to-day operation of those facilities, and there will be no changes to the current design or licensing bases of those facilities.
