St. Lucie Unit I operated in Mode I for the entire month. In accordance with Technical Specification 6.9.1.6 there were no challenges to the power operated relief valves or safety valves during the report period.

2 Personnel error during maintenance activites cause a loss of the 2A2 4160V bus, resulting in the partial loss of feedwatei and manual reactor trip due to lowering steam generator level.

SUMMARY

St. Lucie Unit 2 operated in Mode 1 until August 11 when the unit was manually tripped when the loss of the 2A2 4160V bus caused a partial loss of feedwater event. The Unit was returned to operation on August 12, 2005, and remained in Mode I for the remainder of the month. In accordance with Technical Specification 6.9.1.6 there were no challenges to the power operated relief valves or safety valves during the report period.
