OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE DOCKET NO.: 50-335 UNIT: St. Lucie Unit I DATE: October 2, 2002 COMPLETED BY: J. A. Rogers TELEPHONE: (772) 467-7296 REPORT MONTH : September 2002 Unit I operated at essentially full power through September 27. At 20:00 on September 27, the unit began to reduce power to 45% for scheduled maintenance. On September 28, Unit 1 held power at 45% while performing maintenance on the 1A main feed pump and main steam safety valve (MSSV) testing. On September 29, Unit I commenced reducing power to begin the refueling outage. On September 30, at 00:01, Unit I was removed from service for maintenance and refueling.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the power operated relief valves or the safety valves during the report period.
