(561) 467-7296 REPORT MONTH December 2001 Unit 2 remained offline through December 21 for refueling. On December 21, the unit returned to service at 1835. Power ascension continued through 1200 on December 22 at which time the unit was held at approximately 55 percent due to problems with MV-09-1 (2A feedwater pump discharge valve). Power was held at 55 percent until 2400 December 25, when the unit was taken offline for repairs to MV-09-1. On December 29 at 0539, the unit returned to service. The unit achieved full power at 0005 on December 31.
In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the power operated relief valves or the safety valves during the report period.
